Montoya led 74 of 90 laps and finished nearly five seconds ahead of Kurt Busch for his first victory since June 2007 at Sonoma, CA (113 races ago). Montoya also gave crew chief Brian Pattie his first win in the series.
Marcos Ambrose, who led eight laps early in the race, ran second to Montoya until the final lap when Busch passed him heading into the first turn. Ambrose settled for a third-place finish. He won his third consecutive Nationwide race at Watkins Glen on Saturday.
A.J. Allmendinger and Carl Edwards, the pole sitter, rounded out the top-five.
Kevin Harvick ran seventh on the last lap, but blew a left-rear tire on the last lap to finish 11th. Harvick now holds a 185-point lead over Jeff Gordon, who finished 10th.

Brandon Roy Favorite to Win 2007 NBA Rookie of the Year
Portland TrailBlazer’s guard, Brandon Roy, is MySportsbook.com’s overwhelming favorite to win the NBA Rookie of the Year odds.
Despite missing 20 games due to an injury earlier this season, Roy has definitely put up the best numbers of his 1st year peers. Randy Foye of the Minnesota Timberwolves could be set to give Roy the best competition NBA Rookie of the Year betting lines. With the benching of Mike James, Foye looks like he could be the starter in the T-Wolves backcourt for the rest of the season. Ever since his torrid start, Morrison’s point production has declined each month. This really isn’t surprising, considering at 6’8” he only weighs 205 lbs. Obviously he will need to hit the weights big time during the off-season in order to keep from breaking down in the future.
